Purpose: To increase your AT2K's
range and accuracy and allow it to shoot micro stefans.
Materials:
- Hacksaw
- Hot Glue Gun
- Plumber's Goop
- Foam Craft Sheet
- 24" of 9/16" brass tubing
- Air Tech 2000 (Of course)
- Drinking Straw or Bic Pen
- Duct Tape
- Rubber bands
Procedure:
- Open up the AT2K
- Take out the plunger and plug up the air release valve (It's
the hole on the end of the plunger.)
- Remove the four barrel assembly and saw off all the barrels.
Be careful not to saw through the center post.
- Saw the brass tubing into 4 segments that are each 6" long.
- Wrap the ends of the brass tubing with one layer of Foam Craft
Sheet and use Plumber's Goop to glue them into place. (This helps increase the surface area of the brass tubing.)
- After the Goop on the Foam Craft Sheet is completely dry glue
the 4 barrels to the 4 barrel assembly using the hot glue gun. Make sure the end with the Foam Craft Sheet is glued
to the four barrel assembly.
- After the hot glue is completely dry apply a small amount of
Plumber's Goop around the junction between the barrels and the 4 barrel assembly. The Goop will make sure there is a
good seal.
- When the Goop is dried stick 5" segments of 5/8" foam backer
rod into the gaps between the barrels. (One in the center and 4 on the outside.) Then wrap all four barrels with rubber
bands. This step helps keep the barrels straight.
- Before you close the gun back up, do my Bic Pen mod to reduce the trigger pull. This helps a lot! If you don't
have a Bic Pen then you can use a drinking straw as a substitute.
- Close the gun back up.
- Dominate against your enemies.
The finished product! You can see the placement of the orange
Foam Craft Sheet and the foam backer rod.
