The Benefits and Downsides of Using a Scope

My Opinion on Scopes

A lot of people have been wondering whether or not putting a scope on their Nerf Rifle is worth the trouble.  My opinion is scopes are useful for certain people.  Many Nerfers believe that Nerf guns are too inaccurate to use scopes.  I disagree.  During my experimenting I have found that scopes do increase accuracy on sharpshooting guns such as the 1500.  That is pretty much the only benefit though because there are many disadvantages to using a scope.  While using a scope I have found that I take way too long to take aim since you have to line up the scope with your target.  Also, most combat takes place within 30 feet and for aiming at those distances nobody should need a scope.  Bottom line?  Scopes are only useful for the rare breed of snipers.  Even for sharpshooters I find that a scope is not worth the trouble.  Everybody's playing style is different so if you want to try it for yourself.  I encourage you to do so.
